** Congratulations to Brian Hill of Foxgloves Kennel! **
Brian was recently awarded the AKC Bred By Exhibitor Gold Medallion. This award is given in recognition of an individual's valuable contribution to the sport of purebred dogs. Only individuals who are the breeder-owner-handler of ten different dogs that have become champions of record and received an original Bred-By Medallion through their participation in AKC events are eligible for this honor. Brian is the only GSP breeder with this distinction.
**UPDATE**
Brian finished three more dogs as breeder-owner-handler in 2008. All three finished recently were out of "Patty"Foxglove's FC/AFC Talk of the Town. This is the sixth Field Championship earned out of their bitch this year. Patty was recently named the GSP Club of America Field Trial Dam of the Year. What an impressive gal she is! Way to go Brian and Karen.
**UPDATE 2 - September 1, 2010**
Brian and Karen continue to actively breed, raise, train, and finish trial/hunting shorthairs at a pace (and in places) that often keeps them from continually updating this site. While the look does not change too often rest assured that anything found here, online, during viewing is both timely and accurate. This website is a current reflection of the efforts put forth by these two individuals to remain loyal to the conformation, nature, and betterment of the GSP breed. As a favor to these two generous friends I manage the Foxgloves website. The dedication and tireless efforts of all individuals and families in the Northwest Field Trial Community to preserve field trial grounds and outdoor sporting opportunities for future generations is something to be admired.

Here at Foxglove Kennel our German Shorthaired Pointers are raised as part of the family. They are introduced to birds at an early age and their education never stops. We prefer homes that hunt but an active and happy home is most important. These dogs have wonderful temperaments and make both good house dogs and hunting companions. Litters are usually pre-sold so getting on our list for puppies is necessary. | ||
